Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
Hey all!! I am from Salem, NH, a moderately sized suburb north of Boston, MA right over the NH border. Growing up, it was clear to me that I wanted to attend higher education and after doing well in math and science in high school I decided to pursue engineering due to its practical applications in everyday life. After applying to several schools in the northeast, I decided to attend UConn to obtain an undergraduate degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2014. With an interest in modeling, simulation and optimization, I continued my education at UConn under a UTC Graduate Fellowship to obtain a PhD. During this time, I have been studying the modeling of thermal fluid systems and its applications to robust design and fault detection and isolation. Outside of school, other interests of mine include working out, sportsing, cheering on the Boston sports teams (and of course UConn), playing video games with my friends, and listening to music (professional shower singer).
